The ancient stone home of my large paternal family is now a vacation home with three spacious, bright bedrooms overlooking the green Adda river plain and the wooded Orobie Alps. It is located on the quiet Via Gatti, the historic center of Pedemonte, a small hamlet in the municipality of Berbenno di Valtellina nestled at the foot of Cima di Vignone and Pizzo Bello on the southern slopes of the Rhaetian Alps.
