Baita de Eliseo” B&B is located in the heart of the Alps and the Stelvio National Park, just 2 km from Bormio Spa with its ancient thermal springs and famous ski slopes. During summertime it is the perfect starting point for spectacular walks or bike rides along the myriad mountain trails that surround it, or indeed, for the brave, tackling the renowned mountain passes of the epic Giro d’Italia (Mortirolo, Stelvio, Gavia...). In winter it is the ideal destination for lovers of alpine, cross-country and off-piste skiing, or perhaps even a walk through deep, fresh powder in snow shoes. “Baita de Eliseo” is a family run B&B. The owner, Eliseo, a retired Head Chef, takes great pride in preparing delicious breakfast cakes at the beginning of each day. His wife, Angela, makes mouth-watering jams from homegrown fruit, while their daughter, Elena, welcomes the guests and looks after them from the moment of their arrival to their departure. Alessia, their niece, is on hand to entertain younger guests with a variety of games in the house and outside in the garden. Eliseo and Angela welcome guests to their home as they would family friends, with healthy breakfasts, suggestions for interesting places to visit and recommendations for the best local restaurants. It is the ideal place for an all-encompassing holiday; an abundance of activities for the adventurous, yet tranquil and relaxing for those who prefer to take it easy and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine in the garden.
